OU Texas Reaction
This is just to give all of us an area to discuss the OU Texas game.
First thing is that I hated to see Reynolds go down, it was obvious that OU is not the same team without him. The middle of the field became wide open after that.
I am also surprised about the the interception no call that resulted in a FG for Texas. There is no reason for not reviewing it.
Speaking of reviewing, the calling of the game was very inconsistent. Lewis’ touches on the QB going out of bounds were ticky tack calls.
Special Teams- I hate to preach on them, but yet again they let the team down, and I am sure you know OU only had one touchback.
OU can bounce back and the best news is I don’t seem them falling far in the rankings.
Leave your reactions to the game, and soon either Brent or I will be doing a college recap for Saturday.

I agree with the commentators: multiple calls made today were wrong and should have been caught in review. Those personal fouls against OU members were false. McCoy just clearly has a problem staying on his feet out of bounds. And the call against the interception in the endzone was bull too.
I honestly think some of these calls that benefited Texas were the only reason they pushed through on top. Not to say they didn’t play a fantastic game because their plays were fantastic and OU special teams are pretty much worthless, but there was a basic flaw that made this game chaos.
Luckily it was not the only upset today and it paves the path for OU to hold on and make a comeback. We just have to hope another issue like this does not arise.
In theory OU could have potentially gotten the game back with a quick touchdown at the in, but those last inaccurate plays under 5 minutes sealed the deal.
Congratulations to Texas for a great game. Definately worth watching no matter how painful the outcome.
