Who is your favorite team?
A lot of people have a favorite team for different reasons. I have found that most don’t even know why, or when they became fans. I guess that it is too easy to just be a fan of whoever your family likes. Then there is the bandwagon fans who just likes the best team of the season- while I respect great teams, I will always be a fan of MY team.
My team is the Denver Broncos. I am a 30 year old, and since I was 8 they have been my favorite. I still remember watching the tv on Sunday’s just to watch John Elway and the Three Amigos take on anyone. Back then though, they were just a decent team like today’s New Orlean’s Saints. Good enough to make some noise during the regular season, but never great enough to make it far into the playoffs if they made it.
John Elway was a general, and his soldiers responded to him like no team has for any other quarterback. His leadership demanded respect. If there was time on the clock, he had the arsenal to put on the last offensive to win the war. Remember the greatest comeback against the Cleveland Browns?
To this day I am die hard. I have great expectations from Cutler, Marshall, Stokely, and Hall in the seasons to come. It is good to be a Denver fan once again.

My Fave Team is the cowboys, I remeber 10 years when i watched my first superbowl, they won, I thought wow, if they can win the superbowl that must make them super heros, and from that day forward i swore my allegiance to them. Over the years they have had their ups and downs but i figure someday they will win a superbowl again and then i will be able to say i was a fan for real thats stuck by them

I have to agree on the Dallas Cowboys. I remember sitting around the TV in my Emmitt Smith jersey when I was a kid, and cheering them on. I still get goosebumps when I watch some of the old highlights. Especially the one where Emmitt breaks the rushing record.

awe, good old Emmet, it makes me laught when i see him in the Just for Men commercials, he went from a legend on the field to a sad old man doing lame commercials, poor guy

Hey he still does his work for ESPN. I think he actually does a decent job as an analyst. I have to give ESPN props on throwin all these old players a bone and giving them jobs.

Dallas is also my favorite team. I remember growing up and watching it with my dad. I learned which plays were what, what penalties were and how to read what the official was signaling, and even a few of my first cuss words while watching the games. I was glued to the television right along with my father, and was nearly convinced that if we screamed loud enough, Coach Landry would hear us! Those were good times, and my most cherished childhood memories.
