BCS Prediction for 10.26.08

Predicting the BCS is a lot like predicting who my next girlfriend will be… just depends on how the underdog does.

As always I will only concentrate on the the top ten and tell why I think so.

1. Texas: It will be a great game this weekend against OSU but I feel that the way Texas handled Missouri is enough proof to me that they are legitimately number 1. They will remain undefeated in the Big 12.

2. Alabama: Alabama is playing Tennessee and should win.

3. Oklahoma: With Penn State losing to Ohio State, Oklahoma should slip up in the rankings to 3.

4. USC: Although an upset against Arizona would be nice, Arizona isn’t near the team they were last year. Another win and they slide up again.

5. Oklahoma State: Losing to number one with a close game with the other losses that will happen causes OSU to still come up one in ranking.

6. Ohio State: Beating Penn State will bring them up to number 6 from number 9.

7. Florida: They should have no problems beating up on Kentucky and their record will bring them up to 7.

8. Georgia: Losing to LSU will cause them to drop to 8.

9. LSU: Their win will bring them up from 13.

10. Utah: They will remain undefeated and squeeze into the top 10.

3. Georgia beating LSU will jump them up
4. USC Dont deserve it at all.
5. Ohio St. Beating Penn St will shoot them up to 5
6. Florida

why do you have alabama dropping so much, do you think they will lose to Tenn?

1. Texas- I think that their game against Okie St. will be close in the first half and then a blow out in the second half.
2. Alabama- I highly doubt Alabama will lose to Tenn. Their next game after is against Arkansas State, so they will not be looking forward to a big game. I think they will keep their focus for the next two weeks and win those games until LSU comes to play.
3. Oklahoma- The Sooners should get by K-State easily and move up with a Penn St. lost.
4. USC- Yeah…this team benefits from a lot of things…but they are a good football team.
5. Ohio St.- I believe that the Buckeyes will move up from 9 after a victory against Penn St.
6. Florida- The Gators will move up after beating Kentucky
7. LSU- I can’t put LSU ahead of Florida since they got beat by them…but after beating Georgia going from 13 to 7 is a good jump.
8. Texas Tech- I think the Red Raiders stay at 8 after beating Kansas…not a big win but a win nonetheless
9. OK St.- I think getting beat by the #1 team in the nation will push the Cowboys to 9th.
10. Utah- With all the moving the Utes move up one after beating New Mexico

Yes i think that Alabama loses this weekend. Sorry, but i cant bet on a team that barely wins week in and week out. Got to favor the odds that eventually they are going to slip up to the wrong team. That loss drops them to #9 and then they will slip into the top 15-20 after a loss to LSU on 11-08.
