For those of you who haven’t seen them, the new AP and USA Today/Coaches’ poll came out this weekend. As to be expected, Oklahoma remained #1 in both polls after an easy win at Baylor.  Alabama remained at #2 in the AP, while holding steady at #4 in the USA Today/ Coaches’ poll. Mizzou moved up one spot in both polls to #2 in the coaches’ and #3 in the AP, LSU and Texas round out the top 5 in both polls. Penn State, Texas Tech, BYU, USC and Georgia finish out the top 10. Oklahoma State made a move into the top 20 and stands at #17, after an impressive win against Texas A&M. For those of you keeping count, thats 3 Big 12 teams in the top 5, 4 in the top 10, and 6 in the top 20. Looks like the Big 12 is making another strong case for best conference in Div. 1.
